Stonegate Apartments

Dangerous place to live and bad management!!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/19/2007 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002   I lived at the Stonegate apartments and from the first day there were problems. I was sexually harassed by 4 men living in another apartment and when I went to the management they did nothing. The men started unrinating on my front door and the management would still do nothing. My brand new car was keyed. I could never go outside to let my 2 year old son play at all. I could never go to the pool or the gym because of those guys. Thank god my washer and dryer was in my apartment. I also started noticing things moved around in my apartment after I would be gone to work and then found my underware missing. I reported it to management and they said it was my problem. Well I came home early from work one day to find the maintenance man laying on my bed with my underware in his hand. I won't go into detail. I called the police and of course he denied it and the management even backed him up and lied saying he was fixing something in the front office and could not have been in my apartment. I gave my thirty day notice and told them I wanted out of the lease and they agreed to cancel my lease with no penalties as long as I did not take any legal action against them and I agreed. A few months later I checked my credit report to see that the management reported that I broke the lease and owed them the remainder of the lease. I'm still fighting it.
