I used to live there for 18 months(just moved out in Oct. 2009) and overall it is a good place. One bad thing was the noise. Late last year thru early this year I had a neighbor that played music VERY loud at times. I complained several times and nothing was done. Eventually the guy moved out on his own. There is a new manager and I think he is doing a much better job. I dont think I would have that same problem now. Other than that things are good. The maintenance crew is GREAT! The few times something broke they fixed it the same day. They are a few crickets that get in at times but not a huge problem. NO roaches ever. Kids can be loud at times especially at the pool during summer months but thats pretty much any apartment. There does seem to be a lot of ghetto people that live closer to the Ft. Apache side. Toward the middle of the complex and the Grand Canyon side is much better. If your gonna move here definitely DONT live on the east end. Overall, I would say Summerhill Pointe is a pretty good place to live, just not great.
