Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009
They have a new apartment manager, and she is doing what she can. However until the higher-ups decide to put some money into this place and at bare minimum update the appliances I WOULD NOT move here.
Our apartment flooded when our washing machine decided to malfuction and over fill. We were told it was because the hose got clogged, I dont understand how a hose that only pushes air through it so it can determine the water level can get clogged. When they came to get the water out the company they hired only removed the padding of the carpet and when they put the padding back they never laid it right so you could feel the gaps of padding in the floor under the carpet.
We would have moved out at this point but we spent all of our savings on a weekly hotel acreoos the street becuase the apartment was inhabitable for at least a week.
The second time we had water is because the people upstairs from us apprently had a broken dishwasher that was leaking into the ceiling.
The roaches OH THE ROACHES! They were plentiful! I dont think they ever had a company come and spray the grounds at least not that I saw. We also called the office to have them come and spray but to no avail.
The apartment themselves are very dark, the only window is the sliding patio door (of which are screen never stayed on)in the living room but it is covered by the patio so you really dont get any natural light and it an be very depressing.
The parking situation really depends on what side of the complex you are on. If you are along the side that runs parralel to Mountain Vista and you have more than one car good luck finding a spot to park, there is only 3 open spots of parking along that side of the complex. however if you are along the back or on the side facing Boulder highway then parking is fine, in general there is always enough parking it just that sometimes your gonna have to hoof it.
When we moved in the dishwasher was missing the cap for resivoir that holds the jet dry, I orded one no big deal, but it didnt matter because it never dispensed it anyway.
The electrical outlets in our apartment were loose from day one, I really have no idea how this could happen but whenever you plugged something in it would fall out of the outlet, so needless to say vaccuuming was even more of a chore than normal. We were told by the former manager we would have to hire an electrician at our expense to change the outlets if we wanted them fixed.
By the time we had moved out only 2 of the 4 burners on the stove worked and the oven was sparadic at best.
We had several sets of keys made for maintenance because our keys were always lost. I winder what they did with them becuase its not like they ever showed up to fix anything.
The sinks fixtures are old have been corroded from the years of hard water passing through them.
