We've been here 6 months.
It's a bit expensive for the size of it. It's only 625 square feet and we're paying 695 for rent, plus our utilities. We found roaches here the first night we were here. But maintenance has helped us out with the problem. They're still around, abut not as much as before. We also had lots of problems with the bathroom at first, but the management has been helpful with our problems. The carpet is old and not in good shape, but management had it shampooed twice when I requested. Made it look a little bit better. The washers and dryers are a kind of small.

The location is both good and bad. Good because it's close to everything. Bad because there's a lot of crazy people here. A bunch of crimes have happened since we've been here. I, myself, have been messed with and had to go to the police station. These criminals don't live here, they just tend to hang out here. Our apartment is also located right next to the gas station. It gets really loud early in the morning, sometimes as early as 4:00 AM. Bastards with their music on so loud.

All in all, I'd say we both like and hate this place. Don't like the price, the condition of the apartment, and constant presence of crazy people outside, but we like it for how convenient it has been for us to live here because of where it is located. We also like the management and maintenance. They're very nice and helpful.

At least you were in the position where you could get out. My apartment is so infested with roaches the manager won't do anything to get rid of them. In the past 3 years they have gotten worst. Their in my refrigerator, dishwasher,crawling on the carpet. They are in every room of my apartment.

YES I agree there's a lot of crazy people here living in Sunwood Village Apts. Talking about music, the bastard in apartment #99 plays his drums all night and early in the morning. When you try talking to him, he ignore you. YES there are child molesters living here and a sex offender that used to live by the parking lot. Right now rent for 2 bedroom is about 750-800. Everyone in this apartment complex pays different rent.... I had bug problems when I first moved in but not anymore. With security gone, there's been a lot of outsiders loitering in the parking lots and cars being vandalized. There was drug deals that went on too but I think they cracked that down. In the summer, there were numerous robberies. A couple was pulled into the mailroom and robbed at gun point. Office didn't do a damn thing about this. Currently, there are A LOT of vacant apartments around here! It makes you wonder where all the tenants went?
