worst apartments in Las Vegas!

I lived in these apartments for 5 years. I moved out a month ago (thank god!). The management is awful, the plumbing for the entire complex is still on underground burners, and they are always 'fixing' it, but the problems never seem to go away.
They took out the grass and put in desert landscape, so now the dog droppings are worse than ever. There are no safe places for children to play because you'll find broken beer bottles, used condoms, broken shopping carts, abandoned vehicles, drug baggies and dirty diapers everywhere. Management does nothing to resolve these issues, except send a worker with a blower pack to blow the trash into the neighboring parking lot or yards. The tennis courts and playgrounds are in shambles. The pool is hardly open, and if it is open, it's very dirty.
My ceiling has leaked since the day I moved in, and with the management change, they tried to keep my security deposit for a leak they never fixed. Luckily I took pictures when I moved in, when the problems got worse, kept phone logs and took pictures when I moved out.
Good luck to you if you decide to call this place home-- you're going to need it!
Sure it's close to the strip, but make sure you are prepared for noise, crime, and lots of activity.

I've been living here for over a year now and they've been having plumbing problems since the beginning of this year! The office does not inform thier tenants 24 hours in advance that the water will be turned off. They just turn it off and we'll be without water anywhere from 5~6 hours! This has been an on-going problem. Office's response to this is "we had an emergency, one of the pipes busted." They must be using plastic piping or something because they use that excuse every week!!! This is rediculous! I'm about to complain to the city and see what can be done about this! Another thing, ever since this place stopped having a Security, there's been drug deals going on in the back parking lot and cars has been vandalized! The office didn't do a damn thing about this and so is Metro! They were called but did not respond to the call. Just the other night, there was a domestic violence going on in one of the apartments which involved kids. Metro was called. They showed up 20 minutes after. Someone could have been seriously hurt or dead. SUNWOOD VILLAGE is a joke y'all! RENT is expensive as well. Now the apartment complex down the street at the corner of Wynn and Viking is nice. Their 2 bedrooms were going for 600, 1 bedroom for 400. I'm about to get up on outta here! --------
