Better than most places I've lived

I have lived here for over a year now. I generally have no problems, just a few gripes. My dishwasher never gets dishes clean, so I now hand wash all my dishes...so that's a loss. I have a huge garden tub but can never fill it to the top with hot, or even semi-warm water, because it goes cold so soon. When I moved in there were paint spots on counters, by the fireplace, and the apartment was not spotless. My neighbors are noisy but when I complain the people in the office seem concerned and they take care of it right away. I have had zero problems with the office staff and have generally found them very pleasant. The office manager even waived an old charge on my account (although I have to say the charge was from when I initially moved in over a year ago, so really they aren't entirely on top of it). But nice nontheless. I hope this doesn't change when I move out in March. I would also say the rent is slightly high, and it increases yearly. If you have a pet you will be charged a "pet rent" fee...as if the $810 I'm already paying isn't enough. In most other states west of Nevada you could by a small, but nice house for that amount of money. I haven't had any security problems. I feel safe in general (except for some poorly lit areas by the stairs to my apartment) and no one ever parks in my reserved covered parking. However, I will say it is rather annoying that I get several calls a month in the middle of the night from people at the gate wanting me to buzz them in because they have forgotten their key. I still wonder why they scroll all the way down to my name...hmmmm....anyway, in general I'm happy hear. If I weren't moving out of Las Vegas (happily!) I would probably resign. And I would also like to say that whenever I have a maintenance problem the guys are always very, very nice and professional.
