I am a young professional and have been living at Talavera since September. Although the grounds are nice, my apartment was FILTHY when I moved in. Doors broke off their hinges. Appliances and utilities didn't work. Even the microwave handle has broken off - the first time I used it!

To anyone considering moving to Talavera I would suggest they look to Wellington Meadows next door, which seems to be cleaner and better maintained with a comparable price.

Talavera's grounds are indeed deceiving as to what is found once you move in there. My husband and I are also professionals but are surrounded by loud renters who act as if they live in a dorm. Management claims they'll handle it, however they do nothing. Because of an extreme medical condition, very possibly terminal which has recently been diagnosed my doctor has even requested in writing I have peace and quiet in which to try and overcome my ailment; managements response was to have the adjoining apartment's carpets cleaned and one apartment's replaced early in the morning, and to rent to very young adults in another unit who both play their music loudly, but also roar their Hemi truck engines. I am now no longer working because of my health which is tormented by the living conditions. BEWARE, look elsewhere.
