Wow, where do I start'' In the winter we have gone a week with NO heat. We have a 2 year old and a newborn. The maintenance guys have no clue. They are very friendly but not the sharpest knives in the drawer. It took them 2 days to check our heat when it wasn't working. Then 5 more to figure out how to fix it. An outside contractor was eventually brought in to fix it. In the morning it was 60 degrees in my apartment. The office manager offered her space heater from her office on the 5th day. How kind!!!! Whatever was done to the heat caused us to have no airconditioning once summer came. It took another week to fix that.
And ROACHES!!! Oh the roaches! They are everywhere. I have found them in the kids toys, under our beds, the bathrooms, the kitchen, they are everywhere. I called the office about this when I saw the very first one 1 1/2 years ago. I was just told last month that I can get my apartment sprayed. So I did. Well, it's not working because I had one in the bathroom the other night. The windows have gaps in them and there are spaces in the door jams too.
It is expensive to live here. Our rent has increased $70 in 2 years.
Also, someone took the air out of our tires in the gated parking lot. There are alot of loud cars coming thru here at night. And management does nothing about any of this. When our lease is up we are OUTTA HERE!!!!!!! We can't wait.
