DON'T MOVE HERE!!

This place is very beautiful and adequately maintained (compared to some other complexes in Vegas) but they wayyy overcharge and don't respond to residents needs. There are fees coming out of everywhere and the management is lazy and unresponsive to residents requests. And sadly, the beautiful landscape is tarnished by dog poop that is left everywhere by the tenants, and not cleaned up by anyone even though the tenants pay for gardeners and landscaping fees. After living here for a year I denied to renew my lease. Upon move in I found there were problems that had been overlooked by the management and previous tenant...my air system had been replaced and improperly wired, the "heat" button would turn on the air conditioner, and the "AC" button would turn on the axillary heat. I tried to use my air conditioner in May, and ended up with an apartment at 110 degrees. Additionally, my downstairs neighbors were very noisy, college kids who had parties every night of the week and even vomited off their balcony. I called patrol multiple times to no avail. They would ask them nicely to quiet down, and nothing would change. I also had other residents constantly parking in my space, my neighbor let one of her many boyfriends use my space as she saw fit. Again, patrol would do nothing, after Broadstone claimed they would tow people who park in residents spaces. Funny enough, I got a ticket at MY OWN APARTMENT for parking in a handicapped spot, while my neighbors lovely gentleman caller was parked in my space and I was running groceries upstairs. I was also witness to a mugging, and there were rapes, robberies at gun point, and cars stolen while I was at this residence as well. Finally, I demanded that the management take a proactive approach to security, with more patrols and a man at the gate...the response was a notice posted in the mail room about "Neighborhood Watch" groups and what WE as residents could do to keep ourselves safe. Management very politely told me that they didn't want to spend the money to man the front entrance, which was always broken because drunks kept driving in to it. I now live in an apartment complex near Lamb and Lake Mead for 1/2 of the price of Broadstone, with much better management and fine neighbors, who are quiet and family oriented. I regret that I ever leased from Broadstone and will never again live at any of the properties they manage.
