I echo: "TERRIBLE WITH AN INCOMPETENT STAFF"

This place has really become a joke, borderline squalor. The groundskeepers must have been laid off for the past several months, I don't know. There is always trash littering the lawns and dog droppings awaiting at every third step. I have lived in this complex for almost six years, on a tight budget while I was going to UNLV, and I've never been late or short on rent the whole time here. The management when I arrived here was all right; they were a company called Pinnacle, and the office manager was a wizard at her job, knowing every tenant by name and getting things done fast. The current "management" (I use the term loosely) under PK Nevada lost my rent checks TWO MONTHS IN A ROW, having left the task of tending the office to the string of temp workers they had coming and going. Not even apologizing for their mistake, nor for the eviction notices I found on my door after they didn't record my payments, they treated me as if I had inconvenienced them.
There is no sense of security here. The locks on doors are very old and basic. The parking lots are especially inviting to thieves and vandals. There is no security patrol anymore, as there was with Pinnacle managing it. On three occasions my cars have been broken into, even with nothing visible inside them to steal. It seems like the tenants they're letting move in are scarier and worse with each passing month. Think "Sling Blade" or "Deliverance." I wish I were kidding. I can't believe the rent here has continued to increase to what it is now. I can't wait to move.
