My boyfriend and I moved into this place to be close to UNLV. Terrible choice. This place is disgusting. Completely roach, cricket, ant, and spider infested. It was also infested by bugs that I have never even seen before (Super gross all the same). The roaches and crickets were the worst. We would go through a can of raid per day. We could constantly spray around the door, baseboards, window, kitchen everywhere we could think of. It got so bad (after like a week of being there) that neither of us could stomach making food in that hell hole so we would just eat off of dollar menus every night. Reported the problem to management a week after we moved in and they said they would get someone out but no one ever came. Kept reporting the problem... no one ever came. 3 months later we had a letter on our door informing us that we had 24 hours to get ALL of our stuff out and move all the furniture out from the walls for pest control spraying. This was on a weeknight... like a Tuesday or Wednesday. So we moved all of our stuff into our car (which really sucks because cars get broken into or vandalized every night, but thank god we only had a studio) and moved all of our furniture away from the walls. The next day we waited for them to come but the never came so we moved all of our stuff back inside. A week later we got the same note on our door saying we had 24 hours to move out our stuff and move the furniture away from the walls. I don t know if they ever came, but either way it didn t help.

Moving on, the pools are closed pretty much year round by the health department. Little children run around without shoes until midnight or so (and there is trash everywhere not to mention a thick layer of cockroaches all over the ground that late at night). We unfortunately lived close to the dumpster. There was someone inside of it 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Bums digging for things, Mexican tenants digging for things, once I went to go take my trash out and walked in on a drunken man peeing in the corner of the dumpster. Drunk and high people are everywhere here. It was not uncommon for me to walk outside in the morning to go to work and find people passed out (or maybe dead, god if I know) sprawled across the premises. Gangs meet in the parking lot here. Drugs are EVERYWHERE. In the middle of the day, you will see shady people knocking on doors exchanging little baggies for money. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, BROAD DAYLIGHT. You constantly hear sirens here but I ve never actually seen a police car on the premises. Yelling/screaming/wife beating/child beating pretty much goes on into endless hours of the night. There is NO security here.

This place has seriously changed me. I can no longer just go view an apartment and talk to the management and be fine. I am so scared that I will end up in another place like this. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Even if you have to walk 5 extra minutes, or drive 10 extra minutes, this place is not worth anything.
