I lived at the Belmont for 4 years and when I moved there, I absolutely loved it. Then my senior citizen neighbors moved out (because of the rent increases) and the ghetto moved in. Soon after, the break-ins and car thefts/vandalism started. My car was broken into about 2 years ago but I still liked it here so I just started renting a private garage along with my apartment. Now, the rent is sky high, the neighbors are always having parties (along with the poor insulation it's not a pretty picture) and the cops are always there. In fact, 3 months before I moved, the "cops" crew was there filming. If you value you peace of mind, don't move here.
