The Belmont

So you come into this complex and see a sign that displays the word Luxury and you get excited. You go in and see the models and they are immaculate and beautiful. THEN, you move in. DUN DUN DUN.....Here's where the trouble starts. I have been here a number of years and still reside here so believe me I know this place like the back of my hand. The maintenance staff is the biggest set of dumb-asses that give you this surprised look when you need something done. It takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months for them to fix something, and then there is a 50/50 chance that they did it right and have to come back. One repair of mine took 5 trips to get it right and knock on wood, it works this time. My place is falling apart and they don't want to fix it because then they can't charge you when you move out. I have maintained this place for them. I paint the walls every 4 months to keep it fresh, I clean the carpets, I do my own pest control...Don't even get me started on how long it took to get a new dishwasher...let's just say 3 yrs. LITERALLY! This place has no communication between the office staff and the maintenance staff and so they look at you with this dumfounded look and say "oh that's not done yet, why didn't you tell us." Well, I took pics recently and took them to headquarters and guess what just more passivity. BUT I did get my dishwasher, but this is only after seeing roaches crawl out of it over and over because it was broken and just sitting in my house, I got pissed and took it out of my house , set it out front, and told them come and get it. Behind the broken dishwasher was a chicken bone and El Pollo Loco wrappers and I can tell you we eat boneless chicken and never have eaten at el pollo loco. Which insinuates to me that the builders were eating and throwing their garbage behind appliances. So, to get something you want you have to have a hissy fit and THEN, they gossip about you in the office. I have been called a -----, a trouble maker, had one lady that was told to stay away from me, and they gossiped about other tenants right in front of me. This place is a joke. Next door is a section 8 complex and in the last year this place has been vandalized and cars broken into and stolen right in front of your place. Lately they walk through the complex after school and break all the tree limbs and tear off the flowers and squish berries and the likes into the sidewalk... Recently some ghetto people have moved in and they are very heavy set yet they sit at the pool in bikinis and let their fat and strechmarks show. That is not what I want to see when I go swin, The locks to the pool are constantly broken and so far have been broken for a year. The huge hot tub / spool is a bath for some family that lives right by it.. I saw them with a bar of soap and bathing their kids. Then is was shut down by the health dept. 2 weeks later. The rents is $1350 and you can rent a house for the same amount in the area.. DON"T MOVE HERE!
