The Meridian at Hughes Center

Good Stay From: dominic7@aol.com Date posted: 8/12/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   Lived at the Meridian from 2/02 to 8/03. Probably one of the best apartment complexes in this location of town. If you desire to be right next to the Las Vegas strip as well as the airport and other amenities, it's a great place. Apartments were build in the early 1990s. They were clever enough to put a parking garage below each building. I don't see that very often in Vegas apartments. There were occasional notices of break-ins when I was living there. I did not witness any strange activity while there. My unit was well-kept with new carpeting installed. The air conditioning struggled but that's to be expected on the 4th floor in the heat of Las Vegas. Balcony had an odd slant to it. Maintenance staff was fairly responsive. I lived on the fourth floor and it was virtually silent. I hardly ever saw my neighbors. It made for a plesant experience. Far enough off the road where you will not hear any noise from the traffic. Workout room is only satisfactory. Although I read it has recently been restocked. The only complaint I have is about the staff. Many of them had a "snooty" attitude and were frequently rude. Thankfully I didn't deal with them very much.
