I lived there for about a year between 2006 and 2007, while attending UNLV. I had a 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor (as I requested). The apartment had really old carpets but after speaking to management they quickly replaced them with brand new ones (2 days to replace the carpets). I also had a broken dishwasher but maintenance fixed it about 3 days after I brought it to the attention of management. I can honestly say that management and maintenance treated me well with the upmost respect. What can I say; I guess they just liked me! And now for the pros and cons:

Pro:
Inexpensive rent.
About 2 miles from the strip (1 mile from UNLV).
Good neighborhood.
Clean apartments.
Plenty of covered parking.
Fast maintenance.
Good neighbors (there is a reason for the background check).

Cons:
Outdated appliances.
Poor AC efficiency.
Outdated laundry facility.

The bottom line is that this is not a Luxury apartment complex but then again you are not paying for one. Some of the appliances look like they are 20 years old but they work just fine (if not they will get fixed) and as I mentioned above, you are not paying for the latest and greatest! If you are a student, just moved to Vegas, or are simply looking to save some money on rent then this is the place for you.
