The place wasn't bad when I moved in. There was security when we moved in but when the place changed hands (which it did several times) the new owners canceled security. The current management claims there is security but there's none that you'll ever see (I think they pay a security company to do a drive-through once or twice a night maybe). My roomate's car was broken into 3 times (with nothing of value to be seen in it), and it wasn't exactly a great car. Mine was left alone probably because it was over 30 years old and still had the craptastic original radio and I kept nothing of value in it. Maintenance was a joke, we had to have a repair done when we were going out of town, and the maintenance man stole my roommate's digital camera. The management would do nothing. As far as the neighbors. Wow, it was like living in a 3rd world country. A lot of Mexican immigrants who appeared to speak no English were always sitting on various stairs drinking beers. There were several families there with kids that ran wild, I saw several that were under 10 years old out after midnight regularly. And the noise, kids and neighbors were making noise at all hours of the night, and then when you finally got to sleep, grounds crew were using gas powered blowers as early as 5:50 AM. In addition, the place is overpriced for what you get. The apartments may look clean and new when you move in, but it's like putting a coat of paint over a pile of manure.
