My dog died here

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
I lived here on a six month lease, only because they were the only apartments that I could find on the internet from out of state who accepted large dogs. Long story short...I had my air conditioning unit repaired 2 times before my air cut out on Memorial Day weekend. It was the one day I didn?t come home from work at my lunch break, and I came home to my apartment at over 100 degrees and my 100 pound Lab on the floor wheezing with no more water left. I tried calling the maintenance staff who lived on site and they said there was nothing they could do for me because their insurance did not allow them on the roof to repair my air conditioning unit after dark. The closest hotel room I could find was in Laughlin. More than 2 hours away. I then took my dog to an emergency animal hospital to spend the night in air conditioning.(The temperature outside that weekend exceeded 115 degrees) I spent the night in my apartment waiting for the maintenance crew to be up on the roof, in the first sight of sunlight, unable to sleep because of the heat, but were only prompted in my enraged phone call at 10 am. I picked up my dog the next morning, told that my dog only suffered a heat stroke, but over the next 2 weeks, I learned, after she fell down the stairs, out of no use of her back legs, that she suffered a brain stroke. She was to be put to sleep 2 weeks after my air conditioning system failed for the 3rd time.
She was my life. My everything. I moved out here with her. I had nothing else. They gave me a months free rent. I moved out within that month. They repaired my air conditioning around 11 am, but, I am forever without my love. Please email me @ jmlisme@aol.com to ask ANY questions. I will be completely honest.
