When e moved in to the apartment the first couple days were great. Then neighbors moved in and are smokers. We can smell their cigarettes in the master bath and bedroom pretty much the whole time they are home. It gets better a couple hours after they leave, but just when it finally clears out they come home and start smoking again. Tonight I was able to smell it throughout my whole apartment. I have nothing against smokers, but do not really care to have my apartment and belongings smell like I smoke! This is a major problem with their ventilation system!! Perhaps they could separate smokers and non-smokers in the buildings if they aren't fixing this issue. I have also noticed a lot of dog doo in certain areas of the complex. It's too bad others can't clean up after their dogs. They are going to spoil it for other pet owners who do! Otherwise it is a very beautiful complex and the leasing staff is pretty helpful as long as you don't need anything right after they open!

They do have non-smoking buildings. I live in one of them. The only downside is that the non-smoking buildings are also non-pet buildings. So, if you don't have a pet & don't plan on getting one and don't smoke, then the non-pet/smoke buildings are there. You're out of luck if you do have a pet though, bc the pet friendly buildings are also the smoking permitted buildings.

I supposedly live in a "non-smoking building" but all my neighbors just smoked out on their patios and balconies anyway and threw their butts on the ground. The no-pet buildings are a joke too. Just because they don't allow pets in the building, doesn't mean they aren't everywhere right outside your building pooping and making noise. You can't allow huge dogs to live in apartments! They don't belong there.
