My family was able to save a lot of money during the time we lived here.
The price increased 4 times in 4 years, nearly 25 dollars each time. Be prepared for price increases after your lease is up.
The benefit of these apartments is that there are 2 bedrooms and a washer and drier for much less than any other apartment I've found with the same accomodations, without going deep into the slums.
The bad part is that the neighborhood is deteriorating, the low rent attracts lowlifes, and there is a lot of noise from trashy neighbors.
I never felt in physical danger in the nighborhood myself, but there have been fights in the street between teenagers, and a few nights a month the neighbors decide to scream at each other at 2am outside your window.
Overall, it's one of the better apartments I have lived in. The rent is great (at least during the lease) and the floorplan is nice. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who needs an apartment in this price range in order to make their budget or save money, but if you can afford an extra 100 bucks to live in green valley you shouldn't be here.
