We moved into Village at Karen in 1997 and we stayed there for more than five years. I loved that every unit was a corner unit and that there were plenty of windows. The management and maintenance staff were always friendly and helpful, taking care of issues quickly with very few repeat visits.

The neighborhood is questionable, but you cannot expect much for the cost of the rent. The complex itself was nice, with plenty of trees and grass. Unfortunately, if I ventured out into surrounding areas I would instantly become uncomfortable.

All in all, I enjoyed life at Village at Karen. Maybe it's because I did not have an inflated view of life at this price range.
