I moved into this apartment in Nov of 02 when it was owned and operated by Crown. I picked this place over many others for many reason. Some being, 1- heated pool, 2- gated community, 3- security 4-bug control and 5- my then 5 year old son was welcomed and allowed to play on the grass, tennis courts and ride his bike. I never had any problems till this place was taken over on April 1st. NOW we have non of the things listed above and what I signed my lease on. We have bugs since we are only getting sprayed once every 3 months, the heat was shut off in the pool (its not warm enough at night to keep the pool warm and is freezing during the day when we want to use it), the security was let go with all the other staff (whom were very nice, efficient and responsible) and I was told in a new set of rules that my child was no longer allowed to play on the grass, tennis courts or even allowed to ride his bike at anytime. As well as the gate has been broken for weeks and is open 24/7. Maintenance doesn?t speak proper English and its hard to communicate the problems and the office staff is rude, asking WHAT when I stepped in the office. I pay a good payment, every month ON TIME, like I said I would when I signed my lease. But they haven?t honored anything in the lease as they should. I have given my notice to move out of here, as many others have. This place will be run into the ground in no time and it will only be their fault. I have contacted the state apartment assocaition as well. Before moving in here, ask and check and make them show you that things are and will be done. Or better yet, go somewhere else!!
