I found the Courtyards Apartments online. I had never been to Las Vegas before and I didn't know anything about the area. I really liked what the apartments looked like inside/out. The first team of Management(Amber, especially) were really nice and made my family and I feel welcomed. Everything went smoothly and then the nightmare happened. The management team changed; As well as the maintainance. Security'' Where' I honestly thought the apartments had been taken over by Mexican immigrants. No racial pun intended, BUT...none of the guys spoke english and they didn't even attempt to understand what you were trying to complain about. I really appreciated the way the Pest Control came monthly. All of a sudden, they started coming once every three months!! WHAT KIND OF BUGS ARE THEY''' I didn't know if I was seeing crickets, roaches or criroaches!!! I would complain to management and was told that, "All apartments in Las Vegas has bugs." It seemed that everyone was getting eviction notices. An apartment would become available, and another one of the 'manager's friends or relatives' were moving in. We used to have a good time at the pool. It started out being heated. Next thing we knew, the water stayed ice cold. The manager told my husband that it would stay off because tenants kept changing the temp. Too many stories to tell. Try really hard to find somewhere else to live first!!
