First & foremost, Kimberly, Jill, and Meghan (manager, asst. mgr., rental specialist, respectively) are the angels of Wellington Meadows. Don't know how they manage it, but they've always been kind, courteous, and super-responsive. At one point, I noticed that a sprinkler was placed in a way that was wetting my car and leaving a residue (it came off). Within 20 minutes of my telling Kim, 3 maintenance guys were over to reroute it and apologize! The grounds and pool are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained. When you move in, you will find a freshly painted and clean apt. The closet in master BR is a walk-in (w/shelving) and the closet in 2nd BR is large enough to fit a chest-of-drawers & has shelving. I never hear any noise, which is important, since I work from home. The sauna is great and it and the exercise area are always spotless. Mngmt throws a super pool party in July (say what'). Tenants are respectful. If I were by myself I'd stay, but I'm the sole caretaker of my brother who has Down syndrome. We finally have an opportunity to rent a house in a cohousing community in Tucson, where we have friends we know from NJ, and I desperately need help w/him and a break. My lease is up on May 15, but the house in Tucson will only be held vacant until March. Paying double rents will kill me (freelance editors aren't rich, unfortunately). If you're trying to get in here and want to take over my lease for two months, pls. e-mail me. You will LOVE it! I wouldn't rent anywhere else in Vegas. Know that you can also walk to Albertson's, WAMU, CVS, etc., and are close to Whole Foods, B&N, etc. --Juli Barbato, desertedit@cox.net
