Run...Run while you still can! From: b-rok@hotmail.com Date posted: 4/11/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   I have lived here about two years. There is alot of noise all day and into the afternoon from the kids yelling and screaming. You have to share your front porch with your neighbor. The walls are so thin that you can hear kids running up and down the halls. The decor is horrible and about 30 years outdated and the appliances are from the early 80s and usually don't work well enough to be considered usable (except by managements standards...if it turns on, it's working). One of the apartments had that bad mold that kills off your brain cells, and when the tenant complained about it, all the manager (that still works here mind you) did was bleach the wall...which doesn't kill the mold. I have had mold under the kitchen sink since I moved in, but at least it isn't deadly (I think). When I finally got sick of seeing the mold and not being able to use the cabinet to store supplies in, I complained about it and all they did was cover it up with plywood. The toilet leaks all day and night, the toilet in the master bedroom (if you can call it that) doesn't even flush right (and they won't fix it). The lighting and electrical needs A LOT of work. And the grand finale to top off everything. There are roaches here like you wouldn't believe. No matter how clean you keep your home, and no matter how many chemicals or sprays you or the landlord puts out...they keep coming back...in the kitchen, in the living room, in the bedrooms and in the bathrooms. So long story short, stay away...and I hope one of the newspapers in town does a story on this place so maybe it will finally start getting cleaned up.
