When I first moved into this apartment in the Spring of 2003 the complex was fairly nice. Not that loud, and the staff was always helpful.
Towards the Summer some tenants began playing their music loud at all hours of the night, keeping me and my family up. Teenage kids would set on the steps outside and yell and scream and play around until 2 or 3 a.m. each night. Security was always present, but rarely did anything to keep things quiet. In fact, some of the kids seemed to be friends with the night time security guard, so he seemed to look the other way.
As the year went on, some good tenants moved out and were replaced by even louder tenants. They would play their music until the early morning hours without any regard to neighbors. On Christmas night, my neighbor had a party that once again kept my family up until 3 a.m. in the morning. My other neighbor had a surround sound system and would crank his bass all night long, shaking the pictures on my wall.
Basically, the apartments are nice, and the set up is nice, but many of the tenants seem to treat this place like a college dorm. If you don't mind the noise, this place might be a good deal.
