You Get What you Pay For

Things started off on a bad note but they were livable when I first moved in. The very first day I had to submit a work order for 2 things, the lever to switch between the Shower and Tub Faucet was caked in lime/calcium deposits that it was not functional in the Master Bathroom, and I noticed a small puddle after running the dishwasher the first time. This was the start of my troubles...

When I placed the work order I stated they were not allowed to enter the home and to contact me before arival. They did not do this instead they let themselves in, they fixed the problem in the bathroom and stated that they could not recreate the problem with the dishwasher, which brought on a huge problem on itself. 4 screws at the bottom of the dishwasher would have spotted that the line to drain the washer was rusted through and sending the water everywhere, it caused the "tile" in the kitchen to peel up causing a dam effect creating a mold between the kitchen and living room.
I had to take 3 days off of work for them to try and track down the problem, when eventually a plumber, who arrived after hours looked under the dishwasher and noticed the water draining strait to the ground. I was forced to move out of an Apartment I truly enjoyed, I had a direct access garage(right out of my front door) and a large 2nd patio. I was told I could pay more rent for a slightly upgraded apartment and would have to put down extra deposits on(the apartment wasn't even finished) or an apartment that they had just found that was not occupied. Not having the money to pay for the other apartment I was stuck going to the newly found apartment.

I was told that the Apartment would be ready within 2 days(they had to paint and clean the carpets) I was able to find another place to stay with family, but they never offered another place for me and my wife, as well as our new born son. Upon return to Los Cabos to get the new apartment it was not ready for some reason, and we were forced to stay at the mold infested apartment, we had no where else to go at that point and it was a Holiday Weekend in Las Vegas, Hotels were not even a choice. I was compensated for damages to my furniture and time lost off work which was nearly a week and a half but this was the last of the generosity I would see.

In the new apartment I paid the same for a smaller garage without direct access, and a smaller second patio, the only plus was it was the only occupied apartment on my side of the building so finding a parking spot was not an issue at first.

In this new apartment, the cabinets constantly fell apart, just opening a drawer would make it fall apart, it took 3 weeks to get 1 drawer fixed, which was done very poorly at that. When we finally received neighbors, due to their lack of ability to remodel the other apartments, the upstairs neighbors flooded my master bathroom due to a poor plumbing job. Yet another 2 days off of work I had to take off, they didn't even fix the problem that night, I had a leaky filled roof for the night and the maitanance supervisor, stated its not my problem I'm going home its 5:00, and when I told them I was tired of having to take off work for they're screw ups their answer was let us in the home... I don't think so I have to much valuable electronics that were easily removeable.

Those were just the few small issues with the apartment, other than the horrible Sound/heating and cooling insulation, my power bill rivaled people with 3000 sqft houses running their house cooler than mine... sad really.

The pool was always over run with disrespectful kids that weren't of age to be there, no adults were ever present looking over them.

The Gym was open for maybe 2 months while I was there, and they constantly had some excuse why it was closed, even then I wouldn't want to use it, it was absolutely filthy in there.

The Garage's were small, I could barely fit my Mazda Pickup in there.

My truck was broken into twice, once they attempted to steal it.

My overall experiance with Los Cabos was bad, there were a few good people there, but the Maitnance crew was constantly changing due to them being fed up with how management ran things, and very few of the employees even lived there(which from what I've learned is odd especially with some of the discounts I've seen complex employees get)

To sum it up when my lease had a month left I gladly paid for a months rent not to live there, and for the deposits and rent on a house in a much nicer area. I warn you Do Not Move In To Los Cabos!!!!!
