I lived at Newport Village for a little over a year and a half. I am military and needed a 2 bedroom apt for my girlfriend and I. I was satisfied with their service, any time I needed anything it was taken care of. Rent was decent for the size of the apt. The layout was confortable and the small porch was nice to just sit outside and yell at kids running around.

I would highly suggest getting a garage, at the time I lived there it was an extra $50 to get a garage. I was cheap and didn't get one, and someone stole my stereo system. That will happen just about anywhere you go in Vegas though, so its no blame on them...JUST GET A GARAGE!!!!

I didn't leave the apt in the best condition and I paid through the nose, but for how long I was there and how courteous the staff was, it was a decent place to live. I would recommend it for short term (military or otherwise) as its far enough away from the base to get away, but still get to work in aroudn 10 to 15 minutes.

It was probably a different management staff versus the current. Even back then cars were getting broken into? And what ethical management would charge an additional $50 per month for a garage they've already paid for with the price of the rent. What a scam.
