I've been living here for just over a month now. So far, its not too bad. I like that the apartment walls are painted a tan color instead of just plain white. I also like the carpet- its a little nicer than you find in most apt's.
I have a young son so I like to take him out by the play area. Theres usually always atleast 1 or 2 kids playing out there so he always has a playmate. I was worried when I found out parking spots were not assigned, but Ive never had any issues getting a spot close to my apartment.
I was VERY worried when, shortly after moving in, someone moved in above me with a small child. I figured I would hear tons of noise like I did at the last apt I lived in, but surprisingly I don't hear much noise from their apartment.
I like the neighborhood, its close and convenient to lots of stores. Also- its not too far from Aliante Park (right across the 215 from Aliante Station) which is an AWESOME park!
I would say the only small cons of the apartment is the shower is so small! and the way they have it tiled, theres a bunch of little built in "cubbys" to put shower stuff in, but the spaces are so small that none of the soap or shampoo bottles actually fit in 'em. Its super annoying. Also, I really dont like the fact that the kids play area has wood chips in it... That was kinda a stupid decision, but over all the play area is pretty nice. It also kinda sux that the 2nd bedroom doesnt have a light fixture/ceiling fan it in... Another thing is, As soon as it cools down in the evening there are SO many crickets outside! Crickets really freak me out so I always have to be careful when I open my doors that none get in the house. I have never seen so many crickets in one area in my life! Lol, but all these are pretty small annoyances. Overall I like my apartment.
