Bad security

I heard warnings about the bad security at St. Andrew's Club Apts after I moved in & was really worried. I made sure I had a good alarm system on my new car, and I personally did not have any problems with break-ins. However, my mailbox was broken into and I lost $70 worth of materials that I had purchased.
There was a mugging that occured right outside the complex.
The apartment itself was fairly nice. Great washer & dryer. The electrical wiring was really cheap, however, and a pain to deal with sometimes. I lived on the 2nd floor and didn't have any problems with noise.
People often parked their cars in MY spot under the carport; this really got on my nerves.
The pool was often down for maintenace, but was nice when it was open. The fitness room kept losing equipment to thieves.
