I have been a resident at austin crest for a little over two months now.I am very happy with the apartment I have, the staff; which are very friendly, courteous, and efficient. However, I am very dissatisfied with the class of people that live here. It was very hard for me to qualify to be a tenant at Austin Crest. That is why I wanted to live here. I thought; "GREAT", scum bags will not surround me in this neighborhood!!! Boy was I wrong. Some of the people that I would expect to find on Linden and Grove Streets, are my next door neighbors. There are vehicles in the parking lot(RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY APPARTMENT) that belong in the junk yard.No one drives these vehicles either. They never move. I am embarrassed to have company over, I do not want my friends or family to see my Sanford and Son neighborhood.There is one neighbor in perticular that makes me feel very uneasy about letting my child play outside because she drives her(or whoevers') silver/gray buick through the parking lot at 25-30 miles an hour. It is rediculous. People just dont care either. I have been a victim of having my front door egged, and trash thrown right in front of my place. Thankfully we have new Management. I acn only pray that something gets done about the "unpleasant tenants". I am totally confident that these people moved in here when it was not very hard to qualify, during the OLD MANAGEMENTS reign. If something is not done, I will definatly move somewhere else. I have to blame myself for not paying more attention to the surroundings before I moved in. So if nothing else, please look, long, and hard, at a property before you decide to rent or buy!!!!!
