The rental price that is charged for apartments in this complex is high for the overall quality and appearance of the apartments; the complex parking is hard to find and often quite a way from individual apartments
the construction of the apartments is very poor and they are cheaply made - insulation is very light - my apartment gets very cold when the temperatures drop below 30 degrees; there are black widow spiders in and outside of my apartment during the summer along with a variey of other insects that find their way under the door - including small field mice;
we shoveled our own walks this winter, and we have cleaned the alcove in the apartment building this spring - the maintenance staff does a lot of riding around in the golf carts - there are often empty liquor containers left on the grounds both inside and outside the fencing - the lawns outside the fence are not attractive - they should be green with less debris and weeds; the flaggs get worn and faded - they should be changed more often; the turnover of the management staff is more than frequent - there is a lack of consistancy - a lack of responsibility in responding to concerns;
lots of noise from loud automobile audio systems - there is never any mention of this disturbance in the monthly news letter and that it should be contained prior to entering the complex; the security gates are poorly and cheaply made, rusting, bent and really don't provide much security - it just appears that there is some type of security system in place; during the winter storm this year - the management and maintenance staff were very slow in providing safe driving conditions within the complex - they neglected provide safe walking areas - I head a rumor that the maintenance people were told to "look" like they were working hard to clear the snow and ice but that they really didn't have to actually accomplish those tasks - and they did exactly what they were told to do
