Overpriced, poorly managed, cheaply built, DON'T WASTE YOUR $

The only thing I can say for our 2 year experience at Aviana is that they do seem to be the most glamorous apartments in the area immediately outside Somersett. That being said, in the last 2 years we have lived with holes in our ceiling, maintenance calls rarely ever being answered, (and if they are they usually just walk in while you are in the shower WITHOUT any authorization) constantly being overbilled because one hand doesn't know what the other is doing in the office, and maybe 5' different managers. The ladies in the office are nice, but they have no training and don't know what they are doing. The walls are very poorly insulated for sound and it seems as if half the air vents for heat and cooling are non fuctional. My toddler was forever freezing in his room and we finally had to move him into our bedoom. Oh, and not to mention the unlit hallways to enter the apartments. It's a mugger or rapists dream come true. Overall, I truly wish we had done more research and found a more modest rental so that we wouldn't be kicking ourselves about the exorbitant amounts we were paying for horrible service and sub standard construction. Not to mention they have a 30 day notice for move out that is actually a 60 day. To move out say May 30th, you need to give notice by April 1st. This is definitely not the worst place you could live, but if you want to feel that the rent your are paying is worth it, please look around some more. For instance, rental HOUSES in Northgate and Somersett can run from $950 up monthly instead of the $1200 we were paying for a two bedroom. I certainly wish we had taken that option.
