The obvious benefit of living here is the rent price. If you can't afford a one-bedroom apartment yourself somewhere else, you can rent a shared apartment here for $395. And that's where the problems begin.. You will be living in a 4-bedroom apartment with 3 other roommates you don't know. You will have a private key entry lock on your bedroom door, and everything else is shared. If your roommates want to rob you they can do so easily because they know your hours and know when you're not home so they can spend an hour picking your lock on your bedroom door while nobody watches them. Also, you only get 2 parking spaces (really, one big parking space that you park front to back in) for your apartment. If 2 of your roommates already have cars then you're screwed because there is no additional parking at this complex. The walkways are noisy and so are the stairways. My bedroom wall was right next to a stairwell and the walls shook when somebody came up the stairs.
Basically, if you don;t own much stuff (enough to fit everything into one bedroom) and are in a temporary state of housing needs, this is an OK place, but not good for long term happiness.
