ive lived here off and on for a while, keep coming back because its cheap.
a) at least one of your roommates is guaranteed to be some 40 something creepy dude (lived in 3 apartments so far, its happened all three times).
b) service is terrible, the office employees all seem to be retarded, everything they handle seems to break, or become delayed, or have an extra charge attached.
c) they will, i repeat will nickle and dime you. I think its like 20 dollars just to apply, you pay a 300$ deposit, of which they'll keep 100 regardless of your apartments state etc etc etc.
d) when you move in you become their maid, 90% chance your apartment is already trashed from the people living there. moldy bathrooms, broken furniture, stained carpets and mattresses, and many of the apartments have an unresolvable smell thats hard to place. even if you report this to the office they'll probley do nothing, when cleaning checks roll around at the end of the month you'll be fined if you dont clean part of the apartment, regardless of whats your mess.
e) they use an ISP called MSTAR which provides internet for quite a few apartments in this area. college terrace is the only one i know of that charges a 30 dollar activation fee and has a bandwidth limit saying that its "MSTAR policy, not ours". also it took 5 days and a trip back to the office to complain just to get it working.
f) if your a partier, chances are you'll end up with mormons. if your a mormon, chances are you'll end up with partiers.
