Years at this apartment: 2006-01-01 - 2007-01-01
We just finished our year lease this last May.
The fact that we made it that long was a miracle, with all the things we had to go through living there.
The biggest problem I found was that the management was so off point with everything.
" They lost" my paper work, which made it my fault and I had little time to get them the paper work they needed or they were going to evict me.
When I left I spent all night making sure that all the repairs were made and the place was clean, What I got from that was a letter saying that not only I'm I not getting my deposit back but I owe $500 for general cleaning, paint and a carpet cleaning.
Needless to say the effert I put in cleaning got me a slap in the face.
I have never had to pay any deposit ever in my life I pride myself in being a good tenentand leaving the place better than the way I found it, which brings me to another point.
When we moved in, they left sheets in the closet and towels in the dryer not to mention that the kitchen sink stunk from left over food and the list does go on.
I really want to take these people to court but not sure if I have enough proof do to the fact that I never took pictures anything :(
