Beautiful Apartments, Neighbors Shooting Each Other In The Middle Of The Night

We just moved in a few nights ago.

The two bedroom and four bedroom layouts suck, but the three bedroom is huge and the place is really, really nice inside.

Lots of space, really nice cabinets and floors.

It's about 1100 sq.

ft.

and we're only paying $700 a month for our first year, plus we ended up getting our first month free.

Now, the bad news.

Our stove looks to be brand new, but doesn't work at all.

Nothing turns on.

Our dryer squeeks like crazy, doesn't dry things, sometimes doesn't turn off even after running for three hours, the handle broke off on our first night.

We've had a really hard time getting someone to come take care of this stuff, but the place is so nice that it's worth having to eat fast food and wear dirty clothes for a week, I guess.

But the real problem is the neighbors.

I thought that some of the people around here were a little trashy, but whatever.

No big deal.

But then last night at three in the morning a gun fight broke out in the parking lot.

This is maybe our third or fourth night here and we wake up to people yelling and shooting each other.

I love the apartment, but I have to say I'm a little worried.

We were really hoping this place was a little more family friendly, I guess.
