We resided in the Enclave for almost two-years and we had a very enjoyable stay as far as apartment living goes.
Key points to bear in mind is that if you have been offered an apartment right at the south end of the complex that overlooks the waste ground by the free-way, you should know that the wind really can whip up a dust storm and it is a problem keeping the dust/dirt levels down.
As in any apartment complx, bugs are always a problem, here there was the usual ant problem in the summer but the management are fairly good at trying to keep this under control.
The complex is supposed to be priced on being a 'gated' one but in our experience the gates were often broken, especially the pedestrian gates and it was often a problem with non-residents coming in and using the outdoor pool/spa.
The pool area started being quite well maintained but in the summer of 2002 to spring 2003 we felt that it's upkeep deteriorated, especially the spa area.
One major problem was the lack of residents care in picking up their dog doo-doo, we had small children and we could not let them play on the grass as dog droppings were paramount in key communal/play areas. Car parking was also a slight issue in that people would not park in their assigned spaces and use the visitors parking instead because it was closer to apartment entrances, this made it difficult for visitors to find a parking space.
Management and maintenance was always very obliging to help and assist with any problems and we would consider renting here again.
