Great Neighborhood, Staff Quality has Decreased

My husband and I have lived at Manzanita Gate for four years now and this will be our last year. We plan to move into a rental house in a few months.
The first two years we were here, I was convinced this was the best community in Reno. Where something lacked (such as ant problems in the summer, some faulty construction problems and the like), it was more than made up with the great staff. If we ever had a problem we were greeted as if by friends. The staff at the office would bend over backwards to make us happy. That meant a lot.
Lately, however, with staff turnovers, the quality in service has depleted. No longer is there an effort made to know the tenants and the management is much less willing to work the the tenants if problems arise. The landscaping and upkeep of the buildings has decreased as well, with peeling trim and dying plants. There is no security anymore and we?ve had our car broken into, as has many of our neighbors.
Overall, I would say this is a great complex to live in. For the most part we?ve enjoyed our years here and will look back fondly. However, I would not recommend this complex to someone. Simply because I believe it would save the tenant some heartache to simply rent a house (since it?s easy to find a nice house for the same rent amount).
