Manzanita Gate

Just moved in From: pxbmqrst Date posted: 1/8/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   My mother just moved in to a two bedroom unit at Manzanita Gate. The apartment is nicely laid out, and has a lot of built in shelves, which are perfect for displaying her knick nacks. It's cozy, but not too small, and she has a lot of natural light where she is. There have been no problems with leaky windows so far this winter, so they must have fixed that problem from last year. This apartment unit is quiet with friendly neighbors, and she has good parking near her unit. There are two things that disappoint me with the apartment. The previous residents ruined the carpet near the kitchen, and the bathroom flooring is not of good quality. It is sad to move in to a new place and have to live with stained carpeting when you are compulsively neat. The other problem is that there are no walk in showers for people with disabilities. There are two tubs, which are hard for people with limited mobility to navigate. The management has offered to put up safety bars for her, though, so that's great! So far, so good.
