Manzanita Gate

 

I have lived at Manzanita Gate for about 9 months and, in general, it has been great.

It is amazingly quiet--I never hear my neighbors, and I have always felt safe here.

The apartments are really nice--they are very light with big windows and many nice touches...the bathroom and kitchen have large granite countertops, the bathroom is big and attractive, and there is a nice breakfast bar area.

As others have said, the management is also really great and understanding--they listen and try to help you deal with any problems/issues.

Yes, the apartments are pretty expensive, but in line with the Reno market--housing just costs a lot here.

I have toured some pretty bad apartments in questionable areas that were priced above $700...at least here you get quality and safety (and no bugs!) for the money.

And though the rent is $795 (for 1 BR) they give you $25 off every month if you turn your rent in early.

The apartments are located in a beautiful area, at the top of Robb Dr, and driving down the hill you have a gorgeous view of the entire city, valley and mountains--If you're lucky, you could have this view out your window.

The only issues I have had is that the complex is close to the Verdi-Mogul area with the current swarm of earthquakes and so you feel them frequently, and the pet deposit is very high.
