Take The Time To Look Elsewhere

We lived at Manzanita Gate for 1.5 years, we had 4 tenant changes within that time period as the apartment above us was sub-leased by nurses who moved every 3-6 months.

After the nurses leases were up we had the honor of having three very rude, LOUD and disresepctful young ladies move in above us.

When we complained of the noise levels to management, called security (what a joke) we never got the problem resolved so we finally resorted to calling the Reno Police Department.

EVERY morning at 2:00AM we were awakened by their stomping, banging doors and jumping in the Master Bedroom for an hour or longer.

We were told, by management, that they were college students and that they were "giving them a chance" to make it on their own.

C'mon, no one goes to classes from 9:00PM until 2:00AM and sleeps all day.

These were no "college students".

We broke our lease and moved out after months of complaining, with no resolution.
We had windows that leaked COLD air during the winter months in the bedrooms so we called maintenance, what a joke, they taped the windows shut ...

without tape or caulk you weren't going to get anything fixed unless you did it yourself.
Our neighbor, across the hall from us, parked next to our designated parking spot, he couldn't park his truck without encroaching on our spot.

When we asked that he move it management said he was "on" the line not over it and we'd have to deal with it or park elsewhere.
The apartment was undergoing management changes when we moved in and the place was filthy, when we left it was spotless (clearing military quarters taught me well).

They never dinged us for cleaning fees or damages (there were none) but they did, however, refuse to honor our "free carpet cleaning" certificate so we had to pay for that ...

RUN, do NOT walk, to the next apartment you find.

Your review sounds like and is a completely load of BS. I've been here for almost 2 years now and every time I've had a problem whether is was big or small the complex took care of it immediately without any hiccups. Your review sounds like you are quite bitter about something and your way of "getting back" at the complex was breaking your lease early and writing a lame review.

This sounds like it was written by the manager not a real tenant--the original complaint sounded too real and why write such a lengthy one if they were just "bitter" We are moving to Reno and will definietly stay away from this place!

MLRumbo look at the dates we lived at Manzanita Gate, (2005-2006) and look at the dates you have lived there (2007-2009). Three years between the date we moved out and you wrote your review. Per chance management has changed yet again and things are being better run. Not "bitter" MLRumbo, "smart" for leaving when we did.
