Never had we had such a terrible experience with an apartment and it's related management. I could write a book about all of the problems we had encountered during our 2 year stay at Oak Manor-specifically, the Angel apartments division. Besides the fact that the apartment building was extremely out-dated (plug-ins were so old that modern appliance cord prongs did not fit), we were plagued with a series of problems that left us questioning why Oak Manor wasn't paying US to live there! Leaking roofs resulting in molded storage closets, ant infestations, being charged an outrageous plumbing fee that we did not authorize, being sent TWO eviction notices (two days apart from each other) because management lost our paperwork saying that we already paid our monthly rent (ON TIME - in full, every single month that we lived there) ...they soon found our payment record and gave us a well deserved apology for their incompetence, and last but not least, being lied to about there being a waiting list when we were trying to get an apartment there... A word to the wise... if you value your sanity...AVOID OAK MANOR.
