Ok, so the building has its problems. Sometimes the air conditioning doesn't work. Maybe the heat doesn't come on right when its supposed to. Hot water in the shower is sporadic. Aside from the random issues related to the building's infrastructure, I can honestly say that I truly enjoyed living in this building. It is right outside of Wingfield Park, and you can enjoy free concerts and kayaking all summer long. Plus the movie theater is across the river, along with all kinds of bars and cafes. It's a great location for a college student, a young professional, or even an elderly couple. It is not ideal for a family or someone who is looking for a perfect, hassel-free rental experience. One major hassel is the parking situation. If you don't own the unit, you will not get a parking spot in the garage unless you sublease a spot from someone who has one. I did this and it cost me $50 per month. The other option is to park on the street or rent a spot in the garage across the river and that's a far walk. A little scary at nighttime. The upside to the parking issue, however, is that you do not need to drive much from this downtown location. I worked downtown, hung out downtown on the weekends and evenings, and I walked everywhere! It was great. I only moved the car a few times a weeks to grocery shop, etc.
