My life at the Pine Wood Terrace apartments was fine for the first month until the complex was purchased by Infinity Assets, who neglected the property, except for trying to make it look like somewhere somebody might want to live.

If something breaks, don't' call management because they won't fix it, and if you send them a 14 day notice that you will withhold rent if things aren't fixed, they will fix a couple of things on your list, then try to say that they never got the 14 day notice.
There is mold growing in a majority of the apartments, and management pretends that they don't' know about that either, though it's been featured on the local news.
They discriminate against certain people, and have their vehicles towed from the lot if the vehicle is disabled, but there is at least one vehicle that hasn't moved since I'd moved in that is still sitting there, and when somebody bought a new vehicle and asked about a 24 hour parking permit for the lot, she was told don't worry about it, that was only for certain people's cars!
The apartments have no dish washers, air conditioning, or garbage disposals, and the apartments often get up to 90 degrees inside in the summer.
I wouldn't recommend these apartments to my worst enemy!

ALL SLUM LORDS SHOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR HOW THEY LEAVE AN APARTMENT TO THEIR CUSTOMERS OR RENTERS ,GUESS THEY SHOULD LIVE IN AN APARTMENT AND SEE WHAT ITS LIKE ,, MAKE IT MANDATORY AND LET THEM BREATH IN THE MOLD

This is ridiculous! All mold complaints have been followed with testing by a third party industrial hygenist and the only mold found was in someones coffee pot where they had left the grounds for weeks and weeks! I actually have the reports to prove it! As far as the feature on channel 4 - it was initiated by a person that was evicted for NON-PAYMENT OF RENT, went to court and the physical samples and air quality samples of the apartment showed NO EVIDENCE OF MOLD (except in the coffee pot)! As far as arsenic contamination goes - one complaint of contaminated water - the complex is supplied by City of Reno and if one persons water is contaminated, so is the entire City of Reno (this person still lives there)! How about the fact that this complex has been voted best all around subsidized property in Northern Nevada two years in a row AND independent HUD isnpections have continually given the property higher marks since 2005? OHGORSH (above) should also know that the Owner of the complex HAS lived in apartments before and worked their way into their own property investment business by investing and working two jobs for more than 20 years! They don't even know the definition of a slum lord.
