If you are looking to rent at the Reno Vista Apartments, make sure you DO NOT work with Providence, LLC. This company is nothing more than slum lords who will nickel and dime you to death.

My girlfriend moved into this dive (not by choice) in January 2009. The place was an absolute pit, to say the least. Her move-in sheet was noted with dozens of issues. None of which were fixed. It was filthy.

In her contract, they state that YOU, THE RENTER are responsible for maintenance. If you call for maintenance, be prepared for a bill. Case in point: Her tiny A/C unit (which only cools 3 feet and costs a fortune to run) stopped running properly. She called for someone to come fix it. They came out, cleaned the filter and left. The unit still does not run properly. This was July 29th. On August 8th, she got a letter showing a $44.00 fee and a 10% late fee as of August 4th. She was never given a statement in person or in the mail, mind you. The service was not completed to her satisfation and she was given a 10% late fee on a fee she was not made aware of'

This place, Providence LLC, is a scam. They are slum lords. The will not work with you and only care about getting you to sign that lease so they have you by a binding contract. Had I known her before she went there, she'd not be living in those dives, that's for certain.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT RENT IN THAT AREA! These buildings should be condemned. They are disgusting. Thin walls, horrible parking, shady characters and I hope you like spiders... that's another story.

This matter is so true!!! The place is a haven for drunks, meth users and down right trshey people. I know I lived there for two years till my lease was up. The mant. men were dirty and always trying to get sex from people who let then repair their apartment. One repair person took his shirt off, pants where real low and he had a hard-on while he work in my apartment.
