I rented a studio. It looked good enough, but needed some minor repairs, which they never did fix. The toilet leaked, patio door wouldn?t lock, and the carpets were a mess. When I moved in 6 months ago, they said they were spending over $2 million on renovations. During the entire time I lived there, nothing changed. Torn up carpet & tile, elevators not working, etc. The pool was so scummy I didn?t want to swim in it. And forget about using the laundry facilities. The studio was only 400 sq.feet, and I left it SPOTLESS, but they?re trying to charge me $500 in repairs, which eats up all my $350 deposit. The manager boasts that he hardly ever returns deposits. Oh, and the so-called "security parking"-what a joke! My car was broken into TWICE while I lived there. TOTAL nightmare.
