What a dummy. Why don't you clean your shower? Anyone can see that this is shower mildew not black mold. Have you any clue?

I cant believe that you said that this is shower mildew and not black mold. Mold and mildew are both fungi that grow in damp places. The cause of this is moisture that got behind the caulking and is now rotting it. Which has nothing to do with cleaning your shower. It has to do with Riverwood covering things up instead of fixing them. I have the same problem in my shower and the tile in my shower is actually caving into the wall. The water damage in Riverwood is very extensive and I am getting out as soon as I can.

I used to live there and I had that stuff all over my house. Windows, shower, by the patio door. No amount of cleaning will get rid of that mold and it's so bad for you to breathe in. It can cause allergies or make them 10x worse. I was always sick in that apartment and I would go through and major clean every week! But the living room was so huge and it was so cheap my husband and I didn't want to move. I lived there for almost 2 years before I finally moved. They wanted to up the rent! Can you believe that? Oh, and for people who live there, don't leave your washer unattended. I had all my towels and sheets stolen once and I was only gone like 15 minutes.

People need to get educated on mildew and mold.My tub did need to be caulked for quite some time. But i never got black mildew until i went on a drunken episode for about a month and didnt clean my tub.

Mold can definately be removed with bleach or a mold/mildew remover. I'm sure they clean the apartments everytime someone moves out, so it is just up to you to clean it while you live there!
