Besides the b.s. of moving in on the date I needed and got hassled by the staff (who does NOT return phone calls, by the way!) and was blamed for THEIR screwup, if you have maintenance issues... you are screwed.

I have been calling and calling since my move-in to get the apartment cleaned and repaired. It's been 2 weeks and still no maintenance. I was told by the manager they would be at my apartment at a certain time and certain day. It is now 2 days later and I am awaiting a phone call back from her.

If you call... 9 out of 10 times they NEVER answer. When they do, they tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone.

And let's talk about their "security" on the Sierra Madre side. The security gate (which has no security person in the booth at all) has been broken 5 times in the 2 weeks I have been there. I watch people drive under the gate or ram it. I especially like the people that get out of their cars, lift the gate and then drive in. Or the people they are visiting will do it for them. Yep... I feel REALLY secure there! What the hell is the point' All the gate is is PVC pipe with yellow and black stipes TAPED to an arm which lifts with ease.

I like the apartment and the location. I despise the false advertisement (security) and being ignored and lied to.

By the way... there was a slam on the manintenance guy Rafael on this page. Rafael is probably the coolest guy here. So whoever wrote that needs to get a clue.
