Ok, i looked and saw all the whining going on about these apartments and had to say something. These are great apts for a single person. All the complaints about management are bogus. Present management is great. You should have seen what was here when I moved in in '93. Maybe she doesn't have a bubbly,cheerleader personality but she takes care of the apts and gets things done. most of the whiners complaining about things that are either outside of mgrs control(i.e. construction) or stupid things because they want to be the only person in the complex to be taken care of. People ought to think about what goes into managing a complex this size. they're not going to scrub every cupboard to get rid of the smoke smell, they're not going to clean up goose poop (this would be a non-stop job), they're not going to replace what was stolen out of your car because you were stupid enough to leave it laying on the seat, they're not going to remodel every apartment every time someone leaves. In 15 years here I have never had a crime problem, anytime something broke it was fixed in a very timely manner, the manager and her staff were always friendly to me. Maybe if you didn't go in to see them with an attitude you may find them to be friendlier. I looked around Reno a lot before moving in here and you can't beat these places. If you want to be pampered and have your every whim catered to....hire a nanny or something. you can't beat Shoreline Plaza!!!!!!
