I highly agree with Horrible Management, Waste of Money, and Run Down Rip-Off! My experience with Silver Ridge was just as bad. My rent was increased from $615.00 to $685.00 over a 3 year period. We noticed lots of people moving out, but never moving in. Every time our lease was to end we never had the money to move and got screwed into signing another lease with them. They probably read these posts regarding the apartment complex.
The indoor pool always was closed due to maintenance no matter what time of the year it was. The spa has always been closed since our move in date as they say because due to vandalism. Can they not figure out a way to prevent it' Ever heard of camera coverage''''''
The walls are extremely thin! I had a bottom unit and could hear the upstairs neighbors urinating, having sex and enjoying it I might add, and the music went right through the walls just like they were not even there. We often complained about drug use like Run Down Rip-Off did and nothing was done. People drove through the complex like it was a race way. During the winter months no salt was put down to prevent accidents and I have several times slipped on the sidewalks and skidded out with my car.
When we moved in there were no knobs on the oven. Once we requested knobs it took over 7 days to get them. I really hated fast food by then.
The grass was hardly ever cut. When it was it was nastly looking because the grounds keepers did not mow by the air conditioners which the grass grew to be out 12" tall when they finally did cut them down. Once the sprinklers did come on the ones by our apartment were not working so the grass looked great around everyone else's patio except ours which made the ants come inside.
The new apartment we expected to move into was crap. It had a cracked fireplace, dishwasher did not clean well, dryer took forever which ran up the Sierra Pacific bill to over $150.00 a month. It had probably been there since the complex opened. The deposit to move in has increased a bit since we moved in. We paid $300.00 with 1/2 refundable and $300.00 pet with $100.00 refundable. It is now $400.00 EACH non-refundable! That's outrageous!!!
I am sure I will agress with Horrible Management when it comes to forever to get any refundable check. I have no faith in Silver Ridge when it comes to money. Especially a refund.
I complained several times how the lights outside our complex would explode and it took them forever to fix them. I finally told them that someone tried to open my front door one night and I couldn't see who it was since the light was broken. Luckily my dog was there growling which scared who ever it was away. What if my door was unlocked and my dog was not home' It took management 3 days later to fix that light.
I can sum up how I think about management in one word: SUCKS!
DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE ALL OF US DID BY MOVING THERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER!

I dont work for this community but if the person who wrote this comes back I want them to know that they are not smart because ants wont come into your patio because the grass around your area is not green. Dont write about things you know nothing about- it makes you look dumb. Oh yeah, why would lights outside the building explode? And if you left your door unlocked and you had no dog, you damn well deserve to get robbed. Thank you for your time.

The response is true in a way. I live here and have lots of overgrown grass around my apartment. I have loads of ants all the time from early Spring to Fall. They invade my kitchen. I see them all the time on the floor and very frequently on the counters, sometimes in very large quantities. I keep a very clean kitchen too, so I can't figure out what they are looking for in my place. The ants are only one of the many, many problems I have encountered here. The ants are minor compared to the other problems.
